Marly's blessing and photo shoot

My mom made Marly's dress
So this is a little older than my last post, but I totally forgot I had started this and not finished it. We had her blessed April 10th here in Riverton. Mitch's parents, Grandparents, Aunt Faith, Uncle Steve, sister Kaeli and husband Troy, brother Cole, and my parents, sister Maren and her family, brother Dalin and his family, and sister Karah and her family. We had a full house. Luckily it snowed that morning, but was warm and sunny after church. That made it nice to send the kids out to play. It was such a good weekend and so nice to have all our family visit.

My sister Maren had a baby girl just 4 days after Marly was born, so of course we had to have a photo shoot. Marly and Lauren actually were really good, and we got some cute ones.

Easter and Fun on the Farm!!

This last week and last weekend have been pretty fun for at least part of our little family. Maddi, Marly, and I went to spend Easter and the week after with my parents. We left Mitch Saturday and headed up for the annual Winters Easter party. It was a lot of fun. They started with an egg hunt in the park. Maddi was pretty excited about the suckers. You can tell because she forgot about the rest of the candy and just sat eating her sucker. Then we had a nice meal and Maddi was able to play with almost all of her cousins (she has 19 of them on my side and all but 4 were there). After playing for a couple hours at the church we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's house and she played for a few more hours. Needless to say she was very ready for bed that night. We had to rush to get everyone ready for church the next day, but we all made it. She had a blast at Nursery and even more fun with everyone at my parents house. Monday was filled with more playing and even some little lamb feeding. She loved it when there was just one bum lamb, but when there were more she freaked out a little and didn't want to be left on the ground whenever we fed them. Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa Revelli for the cute Easter dresses. Maddi was a little cooperative, but not enough to actually look at the camera. The joys of a 2 1/2 year old. Oh to let you know I haven't left Mitch or anything, so the reason we left Mitch was that he had to go work in Gillette for the week. It was nice to spend the week with my parents and Maddi loved being outside playing with the kitties. She got a couple scratches because she would try to pick up the kitty by its neck or pulling on its tail, but she kept going back for more. She didn't want to leave and when we got home she kept asking to go back to Grandpa's house.
