I love these girls!

I had to keep reminding her not to put things over her face
This is what happens when you ask your 2 1/2 year old to share. I think that Maddi is finally starting to enjoy having a little sister. For the most part in the beginning she just ignored her, gave her a few kisses once in a while, and called it good. Now she interacts more with her. The other day we were driving home from the store and Marly was screaming, so Maddi started singing "You Are My Sunshine" and holding her hand. I absolutely loved it. She has been such a great big sister lately and loves playing with her "Mawy Sue". Marly is also loving the attention. She just smiles and will usually laugh at her big sister. They are so much fun. What was I so worried about having two kids before? ;)
Marly loves just watching Maddi

Marly got too big for her baby bath so now they take baths together

A first for everything!

Having kids there is a first for everything. There is the first tooth, first food, first steps, first everything. Well this past week we had 2 firsts. Marly's first was that she can now roll over from back to front (which is huge, Maddi didn't roll over until she was 5 months old and Marly will be 4 months next week). And Maddi's first was her first black eye.

This was taken the day it happened
She hit it on her new plastic toy box. I think she hit it just right to get it this good because I saw the whole
thing and she really didn't hit too hard.

Today there is an awesome green color to it

Can we slow down yet?

I know I say this all the time, but time is really flying by here at our house. Marly is already 3 months old. It seems like just yesterday I was whining and complaining that she still wasn't here yet. While I was at home last week I decided I needed to test out my new camera and take Marly's 3 month pictures. These are my favorites. I am thinking I need some new frames now, and also that I need to get some pictures of Maddi too. Enjoy!
