"I'm twee!"

Breakfast of Champions
My crazy little girl just turned 3 years old Friday. I can't believe that she is that old. I know everyone says it, but it really seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home. She is getting to be such a big girl.
We had her yearly checkup about a week ago, and she is doing great. She weighs 32 pounds and was 39".
Mitch decided she needed her favorite thing for breakfast and that was chocolate donuts. Then we had a wild and crazy day of getting things ready for her "princess party". I decided to make her a doll cake and at walmart we found a princess dolly for her cake. I am not sure that a mermaid counts, but that is the princess she picked. I also made the girls tutus. I am unsure that this is princess-y, but they looked cute.
I was trying to surprise her with the cake, but she left her movie and came into the kitchen. She was so excited to see her princess in the cake dress. She said "Oh my gosh my princess has a cake dress! She is so cute." It was a lot of fun doing the cake and I think it turned out pretty good.
We had the party outside and it was such a nice night. She was so excited all day that she refused to take a nap and right before dinner she fell asleep. Needless to say she was not a happy girl when we woke her up to come eat. She was a little happier when a friend came over with balloons and a little pony. They had fun running around and playing on the swing set. They both were very excited about the princess cake and I am so glad.
It was so hard to get her to hold still, but we got one

Marly enjoyed "helping" with the presents

Blowing out the candle, so glad she actually did this year
